Claudio Caluori developed the team from a young age into one of the best-known elite racing teams. The team celebrated its highlights with several World Cup podiums for Nick Beer, Fabien Pedemanaud, Emilie Siegenthaler and Floriane Pugin, as well as podiums and victories for Noel Niederberger in the juniors. It also has particularly fond memories of Floriane Pugin's World Cup victory in Leogang in 2011.

The commitment that Scott-Sports has to racing remains at the heart of this story. The joint journey of the mountain bike brand and Caluori's racing team has now come to a natural end and the difficult decision to discontinue the team after all these years has been made.

Over the past ten years, the team has traveled the world and always exuded an infectious atmosphere. They rode hard on the track, but celebrated almost harder afterwards with the best riders in the world.

"While we weren't known for the big wins in the men's elite, we kept the paddock on its toes constantly over the years. The fans were certainly thrilled. Other teams, on the other hand, will be relieved that they can now leave their earplugs at home. The future is brighter than ever and we are looking forward to the next step in Velosolutions' history.

Our goal is to make cycling and action sports accessible to everyone and we are focused on this mission. I would like to thank all the riders, the staff, our sponsors and the fans for their commitment to the team. A big thank you to Scott-Sports for helping us make our dream a reality," says Claudio Caluori, revealing that Velosolutions will be coming with news and inspiring stories from around the world throughout December. Some exciting new projects for 2019 will be unveiled as part of the Christmas Advent calendar.
