The Swiss mountain bike team Thömus maxon and Vital Albin from Graubünden are extending their collaboration and entering their fifth season together in 2023. The young rider from Solothurn, Luke Wiedmann, will also remain with Thömus maxon in 2023.

Brett Rheeder came out on top at the 16th edition of the Red Bull Rampage after delivering one of the biggest and gnarliest lines of the day at the legendary big mountain freeride event in Virgin, Utah. Rheeder won ahead of Szymon Godziek and Brandon Semenuk.

At the end of the season, Lars Forster and Giada Specia win the Salamina Epic Race in Greece. The Italian won ahead of Sophie Pedersen (DEN) and Leonie Daubermann (GER), Forster ahead of the Danes Simon Andreassen and Oliver Sølvhøj.
