For the opening race of the Internazionali d'Italia Series, the Andora Race Cup in Italy, Jolanda Neff and Stephane Tempier are no longer the only superstars. With world champions Pauline Ferrand-Prévot and Jordan Sarrou, as well as Yana Belomina, Sina Frei, Lars Forster, Titouan Carod and many more, the elite races are mutating into mini World Cups.

Sina Frei takes second place in the first cross-country race of the 2021 season. She was only narrowly beaten by her Specialized team colleague Laura Stigger. Swiss riders Janina Wüst and Linda Zanetti rode to eighth and 14th place respectively. The Specialized team also landed a double victory in the men's race: world champion Jordan Sarrou won ahead of team colleague Gerhard Kerschbaumer.

Reto Indergand takes second place on the first day of the second series of the Alanya MTB Cup in Turkey. On the second race day, a tire defect prevented a better result. However, the rider from Uri saves himself in third place.

At the Copa Catalana International in Banyoles, Thomas Litscher takes second place behind his team colleague Victor Koretzky (FRA) and David Valero (ESP). Filippo Colombo rides to seventh place. In the women's race, Jolanda Neff finishes second behind teammate Evie Richards (GBR) and Elisabeth Brandau (GER). Ramona Forchini finishes ninth.
