The Proffix Swiss Bike Cup and Lucerne-based production company Upstream Media AG have been working together for five years to broadcast the races live. Broadcasting will take place in the current 2021 season on Blue TV's linear TV offering on the Swiss Sport TV channel or via pay TV in the digital offering. By extending the collaboration, live images from Europe's most important mountain bike race series below the World Cup are guaranteed.

"We are happy that we can go into the future together with Swiss Sport TV. The collaboration has worked very well, especially during the Covid pandemic, and has led to an expansion of the offer, which is a clear added value for our athletes, teams and fans," says Project Manager Simon von Allmen, pleased about the contract extension.

Swiss Sport TV has a similar view, with CEO Dominik Meier emphasizing: "The Proffix Swiss Bike Cup is a matter close to our hearts. Together with the organizer, we have been able to increase the scope and quality of the broadcasts. We want to continue to improve the offer in the future. At the same time, we can continue to guarantee our viewers and pay TV customers first-class mountain bike sport."
