The marathon dominator Anita Steiner is joining Team Stöckli for the 2003 season. With Anita Steiner and the European long-distance champion Andrea Huser, the Wolhuser bike producers now have a powerful women's duo to beat in the long distance. In 2003, world champion titles over the marathon distance will be awarded for the first time in Lugano. And Stöckli has now put herself in clear pole position in the women's race.
Anita Steiner finished on the podium in all races of the Michelin Bike Classic 2002. She won four of the five races, in Estavayer-le-Lac she was only beaten by her new team colleague Huser.
