After Oberried, Zurich and Geneva, the electric bikes from "my Stromer AG", a subsidiary of Thömus Veloshop AG, are now also making their way into the Basel agglomeration. Managed by Vittorio Wyssbrod, the new Stromer store in Binningen, just outside Basel, will be officially opened from June 9 to 11. It is the only Stromer store to date to offer city and racing bikes as well as mountain bikes from Thömus in addition to motorcycles.

To Ride, Thomas Binggeli, CEO of my Stromer AG, confirms that the newly opened store is not the end of the chain's expansion. "On Thursday, June 16, we are opening a Stromer store in Lausanne and we have our sights set on other cities," announced Bingelli at the opening speech for the branch in Binningen. According to Binggeli, the next branch is expected to open in the Swiss Plateau in around four months' time, with Central Switzerland also earmarked for a Stromer store branch.
