The competition can be completed as an individual athlete, as a pair or as a team. The start and finish of the Bienneathlon are at the Biel lido, where the Bike Days were held until a year ago. The 22-kilometre mountain bike route rides to Magglingen, the 15-kilometre inline route towards Sutz and the subsequent 1.5-kilometre swim takes place in Lake Biel. Finally, you complete a 12-kilometre run to the Jaissberg south of Biel.
