With Joel Roth (Kölliken) and Fabio Püntener (Silenen), two of the strongest Swiss U23 riders of the last season join the Solothurn team. Joel Roth's fourth place at the European Championships and the two gold medals at the European and World Championships with the Swiss relay team were outstanding. The Solothurn home-grown athletes Nick Burki U23, the juniors Luke Wiedmann and Elia Nascarella remain in the team. Junior Wiedmann's eighth place at the European Championships is noteworthy here.

With this line-up, the team is aiming for podium places in the World Cup and the UCI Junior Series races.

The Solothurn concept continues to bear fruit. In the Tropical MTB Racing Team, over 40 kids between the ages of 5 and 16 take part in the Proffix Swiss Bike Cup races and have established themselves at the top of the national club rankings. A further five U23 and junior riders in the Tropical Development Team complete the continuous build-up to the top of the Bike Team Solothurn.
