Bontrager: The "Mips" more on the helmet

Bontrager presents selected helmets with Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS). This pioneering system mimics the natural protective mechanism of our brain and thus protects against severe brain trauma in the event of impacts from unfavorable angles.

The Bontrager models Starvos, Starvos Women, Solstice and the Trail Helmet Rally are equipped with the Mips system. If the helmet is damaged in the first year after purchase, Trek will replace it free of charge under its own Crash Replacement Guarantee.
