Continental worked on the new Baron project tire for a whole two years and also involved enduro teams such as the BMC Trailcrew and the Radon Flow Team in its development. Anything that lasts that long has to be good and we were also surprised at what the new enduro tire can do.

After two years of development, Continental is presenting the new "Baron 2.4 Project" enduro racing tire as a production model at Eurobike. This was developed in collaboration with top enduro and trial athletes and is designed to offer reliable grip on soft surfaces.

The German mail-order brand Rose is launching an e-mountain bike for the first time. The "E-MTB" comes as a trail hardtail with 27.5-plus wheels and a Continental electric motor. An important feature of the Rose "E-MTB" is the integration of the battery into the frame, as well as the flowing look.

Some key data on the new drive system from Conti is already known about a new model from electric bike manufacturer A2B. Now there is more information regarding service, compatible gears and initial availability. The e-bike novice will then really let the cat out of the bag at Eurobike.

The electric bike manufacturer A2B presents the Entz bike, the first production-ready bike with the Continental drive system. The bike establishes itself with its own design language and the manufacturer promises perfect function, as all drive elements come from a single source.

With the change in distribution at tire specialist Ruegg AG, two players on the Swiss distributor scene are now active on the market with Continental bicycle tires: Fuchs-Movesa is the second distribution partner to expand the product range with the German tires for 2014.

The tire specialist from Dietikon is relinquishing its general agency role for Continental bicycle tires and is expanding its portfolio in step with other tire manufacturers. In future, a second importer in Switzerland will serve the market with Continental bicycle tires.

For 2010, the German tire manufacturer Continental has slightly revised its range and added the new "Air King" dirt jump tire.

What is the intention behind this? Continental is sending the two aristocratic titles of King and Emperor into the depths - with the new tires for freeriders and downhillers.

After the "Gravity Arc" technology, in which the individual lugs are anchored wider in the tire bed, was first used on the coarser-tread models "Vapor", "Gravity" and "Diesel" in 2004, Continental is now following suit with lower-tread siblings, which are primarily aimed at marathon and cross-country racers with lower rolling resistance.

Training on the roller is also a good alternative to icy paths and frozen fingers for mountain bikers in winter. Continental has developed the UltraSport home trainer especially for this purpose.
