Until now, the bike tailor Qloom had cooperated with a Swiss distributor to bring the goods to specialist retailers and thus to the customer. Now there is an unexpected stop in this marketing model: Qloom will market the mountain bike and road bike clothing directly to specialist retailers.

As soon as the biker takes a seat on a suspension bike, skin-tight Lycra clothing is usually a thing of the past. Casual, relaxed pants and jerseys are the order of the day for mountain biking. But what does the fashion-conscious biker do when it's time to take a detour onto the road bike? Qloom clothing offers a cool alternative.

A prominent employee is coming on board at bike fashion tailor Qloom. Former top snowboarder Tanja Frieden is joining the Swiss bike clothing company as a new shareholder.

Since 1 December 2012, the agency Streng Publik Kommunikation, which specializes in sport and travel, has been supporting the clothing company Qloom with press relations for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The agency is now responsible for press releases, price information, images and news from Qloom.

"Better safe than sorry" must have been the motto in the textile department at Chris Sports when they had to mourn the departure of the Pearl Izumi representative in May. This is because Chris Sports is now able to double down in the textile sector with the new additions of Sugoi and Qloom.

The young bike clothing brand Qloom has decided to concentrate its marketing in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The Münchwil-based distributor Chris Sports will now assume responsibility for these markets.
