The "Avalanche Cup" is being expanded this season to include the "CaiDom" freeride marathon in Brixen. The race starts on September 28 in South Tyrol at an altitude of over 2,500 meters above sea level and is already considered one of the longest and most spectacular races in Europe. The name "CaiDom" is derived from the route: the race starts at the Caihütte and ends on the cathedral square in Brixen.
