The Neuron is one of the most popular bikes in Canyon's mountain bike portfolio. Now the trail favorite is up to date. This includes a series of optimizations and numerous new features such as the revised, safety-enhancing trail geometry, improved handling, a lighter frame and many improvements to details. Canyon therefore sees the Neuron as the perfect bike for any trail adventure.

Kerstin Kaufmann, Brand Manager Mountain Bike at Canyon Bicycles, explains the design ethos behind the new Neuron: "99 percent of adventurous mountain bikers are looking for that one fantastic bike that can do it all. Old vs. new

Compared to the previous generation, the new Neuron has improved in the following areas:

• More confidence downhill: thanks to the shorter seat tube (minus 20 millimetres for sizes M, L and XL) and the longer reach, riders have more freedom of movement to maneuver when the trail gets tricky
.
• Faster and more stable on the trail: thanks to the slacker steering angle, the bike feels more stable and less nervous at high speeds
• Efficient pedaling: The steeper seat angle of 76 degrees ensures a more upright position over the handlebars and therefore more efficient pedaling.
• Mastering every climb: The carbon frame of the Neuron CF has lost a whole 200 grams.
Less screws, more biking: The fully sealed internal cable routing and robust, sealed bearings keep dirt out and minimize maintenance. In addition, reinforced screws and improved seals at the pivot points ensure long-lasting good performance.Advanced frame protection: The frame of the Neuron is protected and ready for continuous use thanks to the adjustable chain guard, adjustable chain guide, chainstay protector and replaceable down tube protector (CF models) or the discreet down tube protector made of transparent film (AL-R models).

Neuron 7 and Young Hero

The Neuron 7 is available both as a unisex model and in the women's-specific WMN version. For 2699 euros, the Neuron 7 offers a precise Shimano SLX 1x12 drivetrain, a FOX 34 Float performance suspension fork, a robust DT Swiss XM-1700 aluminum wheelset and a dropper post.

Younger adventurers will be delighted with the new Neuron Young Hero, a fun machine equipped with child-friendly brake levers, 27.5-inch wheels and the same trail geometry and triple-phase suspension kinematics as the big Neuron. The Neuron Young Hero is available at a price of 1599 euros.
