For filmmaker Marc Welschinger, the short film series "Common Ground" started out as a portfolio project. However, it soon turned into a portrayal of the Swiss bike scene, which is as densely populated, colorful and diverse as the country itself. The first of the four episodes features Oli from Seeland - a calm, likeable car mechanic whose riding style is as varied as the trails in his home country.

Marc Welschinger's short film series "Common Ground" shows the second of four episodes of the Swiss bike scene portrait. This short film portrays Hansueli "Hänsu" Spitznagel, an exiled Bernese living in Aarau, who is 100% dedicated to the sport of mountain biking, whether in his free time, as a bike mechanic or as a photographer.
