In autumn 2020, Surselva Tourism announced that a new trail was to be built on the Piz Mundaun to Cuolm Sura section. More than six months later, the same authorities confirmed that there would be a new trail. However, there was a misunderstanding. In fact, the municipal workers had been busy building the trails, but from Cuolm Sura down into the valley and not from Piz Mundaun to Cuolm Sura.

Surselva Tourism says that although the applications for the trail from Piz Mundaun down to the Cuolm Sura middle station have been submitted, no building permits have yet been issued. So if you want to visit the panoramic mountain by mountain bike, you will have to make do with the existing trails. From Cuolm Sura, on the other hand, attractive trail sections offer plenty of riding fun all the way to Ilanz. There are also some attractive tours in the region away from the crowds.
