The Upper Engadin made a name for itself early on with the construction of flow trails, primarily promoting the Corviglia area on Piz Nair to mountain bikers. Lovers of high alpine and technically demanding single trails were dependent on careful tour planning due to the very limited transport options from Surlej to Corvatsch. Mountain bikes were only transported to the Murtèl middle station by train at 8.25 am and 4.25 pm.

Legendary tours such as the Hahnensee Trail will now be much more accessible from the 2021 summer season. From June 19, 2021, bike transport will be possible every 20 minutes between 8.25 am and 9.05 am, supplemented by afternoon trips from 3.05 pm until closing time at 4.45 pm. During the summer vacations between July 10 and August 15, the Corvatsch cable car rides until 5.05 pm, also for mountain bikers. Daily summer operations on Corvatsch will continue until October 22, 2021.
