The Zugerberg Trail, an official and legal downhill bike route, is being built on the Zugerberg. The trail can be used conveniently with the Zugerberg cable car if required. The trail will be open all year round, making it the only bike trail with rail transportation that can be used 365 days a year alongside the Gurten Trail and Magglingen. The building permit has already been granted, so the only remaining hurdle is to complete the financing. CHF 395,000 has already been awarded by the lottery fund. The Zug Corporation has generously made land available. This shows that the authorities, the canton and all other offices are fully behind the project.

Now IG Mountainbike Zug would like to close the final gap of 54,000 francs. The crowdfunding on www.webeliievinyou.ch should contribute at least 35,000 francs. This amount was deliberately chosen to be lower in order to successfully complete the project status on this platform and to have 35,000 francs in the dry on the way to the total sum of hopefully 54,000 francs.

The Zugerberg Trail is 2.1 km long and descends 340 meters in altitude over this length, with an average gradient of 16 percent. The entire trail is designed so that everyone from beginners to pros can have fun and get their money's worth. The route is peppered with berms, jumps, drops, wall rides and much more. Bypasses are planned for all obstacles.
