Most mountain bikers don't care much about wet and mud-splattered calves, but a wet seat area is usually unpleasant and can have painful consequences. That's why the Scottish clothing manufacturer Endura has expanded its MT500 series with the new waterproof MT500 shorts. These shorts are waterproof up to a water column of 10,000 millimetres. They are also said to be breathable and comfortable and, thanks to their good fit, can be worn for longer rides without discomfort.

The MT500 shorts are equipped with a variety of practical details. The material is seam-sealed and compact. The stretch inserts on the seat and crotch are also waterproof, ensuring unrestricted freedom of movement. The seat area is made from robust Cordura material to ensure the shorts last a long time. The leg width can be adjusted with a drawstring and thus locked to prevent splash water from entering. The waist size can be individually adjusted using the elasticated waistband and drawstring.

There is a spacious pocket with a zipper on the seat. If you don't need the trousers, you can simply stow them in your own back pocket.

The MT500 jacket matches the shorts. This rain jacket for cycling and all outdoor activities has fully taped seams and is made from waterproof and breathable PTFE-Protection™ material and tear-resistant Cordura fabric. The jacket includes practical details such as a chest pocket with integrated goggle cleaning cloth, a cable outlet for MP3 players and extended ventilation slits with waterproof zippers. The hood is also helmet-compatible and can be individually adjusted using 3D adjustment. The MT500 rain hood is available in a men's version as well as in a women's specific cut.
