Endura expands GV500 collection for year-round gravel bike adventures

The desire to escape from everyday life has never been greater than in times of the coronavirus crisis. This has brought enormous growth to the gravel sector in particular. Endura has expanded its gravel collection for fall/winter 2021 so that it is also equipped for the winter months. Because gravel riders are known to want to ride in cold weather too.

With more than 25 years of experience in developing cycling equipment for roadies and mountain bikers, few brands are better placed to offer a meaningful gravel collection than Endura. The GV500 range uses Endura's proven tricks, materials and technologies from both disciplines to create adventure clothing that is truly suitable for any surface. Thanks to the support of world-class athletes such as Brit James Hayden, nothing stands in the way of a great gravel adventure.

All GV500 products have been designed as one system and offer plenty of storage space for multi-day adventures. The comfortable, streamlined fit ensures a lightweight feel. The focus of the collection is on packable, easy-to-use winter items. GV500 WATERPROOF JACKET

The GV500 waterproof jacket is based on the MTR Shell jacket, a multi-award-winning favorite from Endura. It is made from a 3-layer, waterproof Exoshell40™ fabric with a fully seam-sealed construction and a non-toxic PFC-free, durable water-repellent finish. This ensures breathability and weather protection.

Thanks to its slim fit, the jacket is perfect as an additional layer. The details have been reduced to the essentials to ensure a small pack size and low weight. The jacket has a chest pocket in which it can be stowed instead of a pack sack. The integrated hood and the long rain and splash protection round off the ensemble. The waterproof GV500 jacket is available in sizes XS - XXXL in three colors (paprika, olive green and black) to match Endura's MTB ranges of the MT500, SingleTrack and Hummvee collections.

GV500 WATERPROOF TROUSERS AND SHORTS

The GV500 Waterproof Trousers and Shorts are also made from a breathable, lightweight, waterproof Exoshell40™ fabric with fully taped seams, treated with a PFC-free, non-toxic, durable water repellent finish and offer lightweight, packable protection for the legs. The trousers and shorts can be rolled up in the elasticated drawstring. Thanks to their small pack size, they are perfect for multi-day adventures. Both products also feature a new waistband construction with a soft, comfortable inner elastic and a simple elastic loop that doubles as a hanging loop for drying. This means that the shorts and pants can be easily packed away for any occasion. Both items feature a gravel-specific fit and robust fabric panels. In addition, both items are equipped with the Clickfast™ system so that they can be combined with any inner shorts. Reflective elements increase visibility when riding. The trousers also have a long ankle zipper with gaiter on the inside for easy on and off.

GV500 INSULATED JACKET

For exciting adventures you need good equipment. The GV500 insulated jacket offers everything your gravel heart desires. The new lightweight, packable GV500 Insulated Jacket features Primaloft® Gold insulation sandwiched between lightweight yet durable windproof layers. You won't get cold with this jacket! It can also be easily stowed away in the front pockets, making it perfect for multi-day bike tours.

The two-way front zipper makes it quick and easy to put on and take off. The reflective elements on the jacket provide additional visibility when riding on the road. The jacket has a minimalist design, but offers excellent warmth and protection on any occasion. The close-fitting, built-in, insulating hood with the simple, elastic-bound front edge and fastening loop on the back provide extra warmth after the ride and can be worn under a helmet. The Lycra cuffs keep out draughts, improve comfort under a waterproof shell and minimize pack size.

The left pocket has a double-sided zipper. It can also be converted into a pack sack, creating an extremely impressive 245g backpack that is easy to stow in your luggage. To achieve this low weight, Endura has used a special material that contains over 80% recycled fabrics and has a PFC-free, water-repellent finish on the outside. The GV500 Insulated Jacket is available in sizes XS - XXXL in black with anthracite lining or in olive green with paprika lining.

GV500 BASIC COLLECTION

The GV500 Reiver Bibshort with the double fabric panels in the thigh area, corresponds to the concept of one of Endura's initial products. The lightweight fabric with stretch and the fabric panel with lumbar support, which the company has based on the new Pro SL Race Bibshort design, ensures a great fit. The silicone strips at the back ensure that a baggy short worn underneath fits well. The new GV500 Foyle Baggy Shorts are perfect for this. The GV500 Reiver Bibshort also contains the proven padding of the 600 series. The large mesh pockets are ideal for stowing the necessary items and the side pockets offer good storage space.

GV500 FOYLE SHORTS

The GV500 Foyle shorts are more casual, but no compromises have been made when it comes to performance. The lightweight material with stretch content and the PFC-free, water-repellent finish combined with the slim fit ensure a feather-light feel. The inner waistband with mesh material has printed silicone grips that ensure a good fit. The elasticated Velcro® loops, which can be used to adjust the width of the waistband, provide additional support.

The zippered pockets are ideal for storing all your essentials and the pockets, some of which are made of mesh material, together with the laser-cut, perforated ventilation slits ensure good air circulation. The zippered thigh openings also serve as vents and make the GV500 Reiver Bibshort cargo pockets easily accessible. Although these shorts can be worn perfectly with the GV500 Reiver Bibshort on their own, they also include the Clickfast™ system so that any shorts can be worn underneath.

GV500 REIVER SHIRT

The main body of the GV500 Reiver short sleeve jersey is made from a moisture-wicking, lightweight, recycled knit fabric. The soft, melange-dyed material gives the jersey a subtle tech look and the material on the sleeves provides additional durability. The mesh fabric panels offer good ventilation. The jersey also contains many pockets, such as a zippered front pocket and the classic three back pockets. It also has large side pockets with mesh material. The lightweight silicone strip on the waistband prevents annoying riding up.

The moisture-repellent, lightweight material with a merino wool blend ensures good temperature regulation and sweat wicking. The snug yet loose fit makes this T-shirt the ultimate functional shirt. The T-shirt also features a zipped pocket on the side and a cycling-specific sleeve design.
