The e-mountain bike version of the Enduro World Series is entering its second year and new teams are being formed as a result: with the "Lapierre Overvolt Team", the French bike manufacturer is sending a nimble trio consisting of Nicolas Vouilloz, Kevin Marry and Antoine Rogge into the international racing series. The "Overvolt GLP2 Team" will be deployed.

After everything turned out differently than planned and the pandemic continues to have the world firmly in its grip, some organizers also had to cancel or postpone their races. As a result, the Specialized RockShox Rookies Cup is adjusting its race calendar to five events.

At the first race of the Italian 4Enduro Series in Valdilana, Carolin Gehrig rides to second place and Anita Gehrig to third. The race is won by German Rafaela Richter. Lea Rutz is another Swiss rider in the top 10, while Frenchman Adrien Dailly wins the men's race. The best Swiss is Jonas Bernet in 19th place.
