Biketec AG, the Flyer manufacturer, is now focusing even more strongly on the needs of retailers in the EU and Germany in particular with the founding of "Flyer Service GmbH" in Backnang near Stuttgart. This step is intended to further improve support for Flyer dealers both before and after the purchase.

The team, consisting of Tim Sanna (Head of Service Workshop) and Horst Steiner (Fleet Dispatcher, Trade Fairs & Events), will provide support for dealers at trade fairs and events. The maintenance and provision of the test vehicle fleet, as well as faster processing of customer inquiries and services are also part of their range of tasks. Furthermore, Fabian Hofstetter is responsible for the overall coordination of sales support activities as an employee of Biketec AG in Switzerland. Thomas Hummel - previously employed by Biketec as International Sales Manager - will fill the position of Managing Director of "Flyer Service GmbH". He will continue to be supported by Tanja Partanen.

"Flyer Service GmbH is a clear commitment to the German market and the German specialist bike trade," says the designated Managing Director. In the medium term, the subsidiary and its proximity to the market are intended to massively improve service quality, transport and repair times, the general handling of customer concerns and services relating to the topic of electromobility. "This is where we measure ourselves against the service and spare parts specialists in the industry," continues Hummel.

The new subsidiary does not offer direct access to end customers and is set up as an internal service company. Contact with the manufacturer will continue to be via the familiar telephone numbers and email addresses.
