The world's best riders will compete against each other in the men's race. Karl Platt (GER) and Christoph Sauser (SUI) (both five overall victories), who have been bitter rivals at the Epic for years, will ride together in the Masters this year.

With Robyn de Groot (RSA) / Pauline Ferrand Prévot (FRA) (2014 World Champion Road / Cyclocross / Mountain Bike), Haley Batten (USA) / Sofia Gomez Villafane (ARG), Mariske Strauss (RSA) / Candice Lill (RSA), Ariane Lüthi (SUI) / Amy Wakefield (RSA), the absolute elite are ready to fight for the Cape Epic victory in the women's race.
