For years, the "Giant Swiss SR-Suntour Team" was one of the most important national racing teams, which served as a springboard for international success for a number of young talents. The temporary withdrawal from the cross-country racing scene meant a loss for the Swiss racing scene. Now this gap is being filled again.

Former "Giant Swiss" team manager Roland Abächerli is delighted that the team will be back on the national cross-country circuit in the 2014 season under the management of Beat Stirnemann. The team management is currently putting together the new racing team and will present it at a later date. Furthermore, Abächerli is looking forward to continuing to promote racing in the background in order to devote himself to other tasks at Giant Swiss in the foreground.
