Gujan and Vogel can look back on over thirty years of combined experience in the sport of mountain biking. Together, they have a comprehensive and well-founded wealth of experience that makes velocoach a competent partner in the sport of mountain biking. "With velocoach, we want to pass on our expertise and offer athletes the opportunity to benefit from professional coaching," says Gujan, explaining the idea shared with Vogel.

The idea for velocoach had been in Martin and Florian's heads for some time. Martin's retirement from active top-level sport now offers the opportunity to put this project into practice.

About Martin and Florian

Martin Gujan was a professional mountain biker for over a decade and rode for the Cannondale Factory Racing Team and Bianchi, among others. In addition to completing his A-levels, Martin also trained as a marketing specialist during his racing career and holds a J&S junior trainer qualification.

Florian Vogel has been a professional mountain biker for over 14 years and has seen first-hand how the sport and its requirements profile have changed in recent years. The trained polygraph has always been interested in training theory and was one of the first athletes in mountain biking to work with performance measurement devices. He has expanded his practical experience through the J&S junior coach training course and is also a J&S "Cycling" expert.
