An old acquaintance brought the 31-year-old from Sigriswil to BULLS. After it became clear in the middle of last year that the BIXS Pro Team would not be continuing, Hansueli Stauffer went in search of a sponsor. He found what he was looking for with the Swiss distributor of BULLS BIKES Stefan Schaer. "I've known Hansueli and his parents since he was born. His parents have a bike store, which his brother rides. The Stauffers are an enthusiastic cycling family and we have a long-standing friendship. So it was only natural for me to step in as a sponsor. It's fixed for one year, with an option to extend," says Swiss BULLS man Stefan Schaer about his sponsorship. But Hansueli's palmares shows that his commitment is not just a matter of the heart.

With his third Swiss championship runner-up title, he has made a name for himself as a top rider, especially in Switzerland. Stefan Schaer can therefore count on double the clout in Swiss marathons. Urs Huber, who has been under contract with Team BULLS since 2013, is also delighted to have a new compatriot on BULLS BIKES. "I think it's good that BULLS Switzerland is becoming active in racing with the support of Hansueli and that a second rider will primarily be at the start of the Swiss races. As we get on well personally, I am sure that we will have a good time together on the race track," says Urs Huber about his new companion. Hansueli will make his racing debut in a BULLS jersey in mid-March at the 2-stage MTB race VOLCAT COSTA BRAVA. "Being on the road with the same equipment as Team BULLS and with the great sponsor BULLS Switzerland behind me, I'm looking forward to the coming season," says Hansueli Staufer. He has thus laid the foundation for his big goals: the Swiss Marathon Championship, overall victory in the Marathon Bike Classic Series and a top result at the home World Championships in Grächen.
