The local bike community became suspicious of the daily obstacles on their bike trails and independently installed infrared cameras. These clearly show Kraal repeatedly sabotaging the trails and endangering the bikers. The 64-year-old was ultimately convicted on the basis of the images. Kraal explained that she only wanted to push the bikers off the trails and keep them free for the hikers. After the dog owner was sentenced, the two-year terror of sabotage on the bike trails around Vancouver came to an abrupt end.
