After numerous cancellations due to Covid-19, Human Sports Management AG as series organizer has found a replacement location for Lugano at RMV Hochdorf. A short race for all categories will take place over two days at the end of October. "Hochdorf already has a lot of experience in organizing races, as they have hosted a stage of the Argovia Cup since 2012. We are delighted to be able to count on such competent support for the organization of the final," says project manager Simon von Allmen, happy about the commitment.

A crisp and technically varied spectacle can be offered on the sports grounds together with the ArenaTrail bike trail from Hochdorf. "We are proud to welcome the top athletes from the mountain bike scene to the Arena sports ground in Hochdorf. RMV Hochdorf will do everything in its power to organize an attractive race under the special circumstances," says OC President Philip Gassner.New race mode

As the season has been shortened, the race will be completely open in all categories and not just for the top 50 as in previous years. "We want to give all athletes as many racing opportunities as possible," says sporting director Dimitri Isler, explaining the measure. This has an impact on the race schedule. There will be several heats with qualifications, similar to ski cross in winter. The number of qualifying heats will depend on the number of registrations.

The result of the short race will count in full towards the overall PROFFIX Swiss Bike Cup ranking. Participation is therefore crucial for all athletes with ambitions in this classification.www.swissbikecup.ch
