"Hoops Carbon" is the name of the new addition to Trail Supply's portfolio - and the name says it all. After all, carbon is self-explanatory and hoops stands for ring or tire, which is exactly what the term rim means. The other names of the rims are a little more cryptic or technical: 726, 729, 735, 926, 929.

The price is the same for all rims at CHF 490, the only difference is the 27.5" wheel size in the first digit 7 and the 29" wheel size in the first digit 9. The second and third digits allude to the inner width, which varies from 26 to 30 to 36 millimetres for the 27.5" version, while the 29" version offers a choice of inner widths of 26 and 30 millimetres.

For a stable wheel, 32 spokes are the right choice and the "Hoops Carbon" are available with exactly this number of holes. The profile of the rims is hookless and tubeless ready, the material is UD carbon and the finish is matt. The weights of the rims start at around 400 grams. The rims are available as individual wheels via the Trail Supply wheel configurator with hubs from DT or Acros as well as spokes and nipples from DT Swiss.
