NORCO has been active in Canada for over 40 years, as Bert Lewis founded his company "Northern Cycle Industries Ltd." (hence the abbreviation NORCO) back in 1964 with the aim of creating a counterweight to the strong eastern Canadian manufacturers in western Canada. From the outset, the focus was on working with independent bike dealers and therefore on quality products.
