Intense renews its enduro bullet "Tracer Carbon

With the second generation of the Tracer Carbon, Intense completes its range of carbon mountain bikes. After the first stroke on the drawing board three years ago, the new Tracer Carbon comes with modern geometry, an optimized chassis and eye-catching bright colors.

Three years in the making, the new Tracer had big shoes to fill. After all, its predecessor was one of the US cult brand's most popular and best-selling bikes. Intense also won the "Bike of the Year Award" at Interbike 2014 with the former Tracer. The new Tracer Carbon still comes with 27.5-inch wheels, but with modern trail geometry, 148/110 millimeter Boost axles on the rear and front wheels and improved suspension performance.

In terms of geometry, the reach has become slightly longer - 460 millimetres for size L. Together with the 65.5 degree flat steering angle, this gives the enduro bike more composure on fast descents. Intense gave the Tracer an effective seat angle of 75 degrees so that it is still easy to ride uphill. for a more confident ride. The JS-Tuned (JS = Jeff Steber, founder and mastermind behind Intense) "Enduro Link" has been further developed and now has longer rocker arms, including the upper carbon link. This optimizes the lever curve and the axle path, making the entire chassis more efficient.
