The Audi Activesphere Concept completes Audi's quartet of Sphere concept vehicles. Following the Audi Skysphere 2021 roadster, the Audi Grandsphere 2021 saloon and the Audi Urbansphere space concept in April 2022, a four-door crossover coupé with an amazingly versatile body design is now making its debut. This is because the extremely elegant car, which is just under five meters long, is not just a luxury-class sports car whose ground clearance and large 22-inch wheels also signal its talent for off-road use. The Sportback rear of the Activesphere can also be transformed into an open "Activeback" loading area at the touch of a button - perfect for carrying all kinds of leisure equipment.

The Audi Activesphere Concept is a perfect synthesis of opposites. It proves to be a versatile border crosser, which also means: a quick-change artist. Its rear section in particular takes into account the active lifestyle of its customers and makes it possible to carry even large sports equipment without sacrificing the elegance and sportiness of the Sportback silhouette.
If required, the transparent rear window slides almost flush over the roof of the Activesphere. At the same time, the lower, vertical segment of the rear folds horizontally. This opens up a respectable loading area, in which holders for two long mountain bikes and their front wheels are already embedded.

Drive and chassis qualify it as the ideal on- and off-roader in equal measure. It can be actively moved with the steering wheel and pedals and, if required, offers the option of an automated and relaxed experience on the road. As an elegant and dynamic coupé, it displays classic proportions and lines. And transforms into a pickup for transporting top-class sports equipment in just a few seconds
Large 22-inch wheels and the striking ground clearance, a typically Audi flat cabin and the dynamic roof arch define the significantly sporty proportions. The 285/55 tires are voluminous and suitable for off-road use and underline the Activesphere's talent for off-road use with their contoured profile.

It represents a new form of crossover that cleverly combines the elegance of an Audi Sportback, the versatility of an SUV and genuine off-road capabilities. With electric drive and fast-charging technology from Audi's PPE modular system, the Audi activesphere joins the family of Sphere concept vehicles. With no local emissions, a range of over 600 km and - thanks to 800-volt technology - the shortest charging times, it combines the sustainability of electric drive with the dynamics and long-distance capability of ultra-modern electrically powered cars.
