Is Specialized coming with a snow e-bike?

An interesting design study has appeared on the Facebook page of Snowmoto Japan. The Japanese designers have apparently been commissioned by Specialized to create a track-powered e-bike.

Details are not yet known. The manufacturer Snowmoto has been producing snow bikes without an electric drive for years. The design study has a few surprises in store, such as the single crown suspension fork inspired by the Rock Shox RS-1 or the two damper elements on the rear triangle.
