The seventh episode of "Ridgeline," titled "The Last Forbidden Kingdom," follows Gee Atherton and his crew on an 18-day expedition to the Upper Mustang region—one of the most remote areas they have ever tackled. The video features endless ridges, loose scree, and epic descents. While some obstacles were built for the shoot—including a massive 23-meter (75-foot) canyon gap in Tange—most of the terrain remained completely untouched: rugged, natural lines that follow the fall line directly through narrow gullies and steep passages.

Since much of the action took place at altitudes above 4,000 meters, the team had to significantly adapt its approach to the project. The extreme altitude meant a slower pace, more difficult recovery periods, and a completely different kind of challenge compared to previous “Ridgeline” trips.
