In a prime location at Zurich main station and in Zurich Brunau, Switzerland's two-wheeler community will be presenting itself to a wide audience during Cycle Week from May 11 to 14, 2023. The event will focus on the versatility of two-wheelers.

The Europaallee trade fair location forms the big stage for the "Cycle Week Festival" in the triangle of Europaallee, Lagerstrasse and Kasernenstrasse. The appearances of numerous exhibitors and tourist destinations from the entire Alpine region form the backdrop for the public viewing of the Cross-Country World Cup in Nove Mesto on the Europaplatz. A few meters away, BMX flatlander Terry Adams and trial mountain biker Tom Öhler will amaze spectators with their tricks on Gullplatz.

Two-wheeler campus at the foot of the Üetliberg

The second location of Cycle Week 2023 is in Zurich Brunau. This is where the two-wheeler events will take place as part of a campus. Outdoor specialist Transa will set up its base camp here for four days. As a meeting point between bike tests and presentations, the Chillout and Grill Area is a great place to exchange ideas and talk shop over sausages and beer until late in the evening. Campus Brunau is ideally located as a starting point for test rides on the trails on the Üetliberg, which also pays off for the e-mountain bike rides with skier Beat Feuz or mountain bike legend René Wildhaber, for example.

Learning at the "Velo-Uni"

These are just two of the more than 150 workshops, presentations and riding technique courses that will be held as part of Cycle Week. The organizers are therefore right to call it a "cycling university", as there are so many opportunities to learn more and gain exciting insights from workshops on and off two wheels. Multimedia presentations by Explora specialists will provide entertainment in the evening. In the Campus Hall, presentations such as "Flow" by bike mountaineer Harald Philipp or the adventure "Ice and Palms" by two freeriders will captivate visitors.

Big jumps in the Jumppark

Jumppark Sihlcity is the venue for the "Züridirt Contest", an international competition for slopestylers on the FMB World Tour. After last year's premiere of the women's category, a whole host of well-known female dirt jumpers are on the starting list in 2023, led by the 2022 winner, Patricia Druwen from Germany. In the men's category, local hero Lucas Huppert will try to repeat his victory from the previous year.

The appearance of Ride

The Cycle Week platform is supporting Ride on its own behalf with the Partner Summit on May 11, 2023. The high-quality networking event for partners and friends of Ride provides the latest input from the mountain bike world and is all about uncomplicated exchange.
