At the UCI race in the second-highest category in Haiming, Austria, American Bjorn Riley rode to his first elite victory. Riley finished ahead of Lars Forster (SUI) and Austrian Mario Bair. In the women’s race, Alessandra Keller was in a class of her own. She won by a clear margin ahead of her Swiss compatriots Ginia Caluori and Ramona Forchini.

The International Cycling Union (UCI) is suspending the E-Mountain Bike Cross-Country World Cup this year. Following an analysis of the series, the UCI believes that international growth targets have not been met and intends to realign the discipline in collaboration with stakeholders. However, the discipline will remain part of the program at the Mountain Bike World Championships. E-Enduro is not affected by this decision.

The Homberg Downhill Race celebrated its 30th edition. Elia Saurer took the win. The local rider edged out Nicolas Bächler by two-tenths of a second, with Nick Beer taking third place. In the women’s category, Nina Vogelsanger faced no competition; however, 150 children took part in the Vailant GP, the kids’ downhill series, at Homberg, gaining their first downhill racing experience.
