Koba delivers 27.5 Plus

In a comparative test between 27.5 Plus and 29-inch bikes, Ride showed just how much potential there is in the new tire format. If you want to experience the fat rollers for yourself: wheels and accessories for the 27.5 Plus format are now available from custom-made bike specialist Koba.

While the stock lists of various manufacturers for 27.5 Plus material show dates such as November or December 2015, things are already moving full steam ahead towards wide rollers in this country: Buchser à la carte bike manufacturer Koba can now supply three wheel sets from stock to specialist retailers.

These wheels are based on the 45 millimeter wide "Scraper i45" rim from WTB, with black DT Comp spokes and a choice of three hub versions (Shimano SLX or XT and DT240, standard front 15/100mm and rear 12/412mm). The WTB Trailblazer 27x2.8" tires and matching rim strips are also available.

Also available from Koba are matching hardtail and cross-country fully frames for the above rolling stock. Complete 27.5 Plus bikes will follow soon at Koba.
