In miserable conditions, the Italian Eleonora Farina rode to her first Downhill World Cup victory in Les Gets. With an almost flawless ride, she beat Mille Johnset and Tahnee Seagrave. Amaury Pierron put in a masterful performance in the men's race. The Frenchman rode like he was dry on the Les Gets slide and won by over six seconds ahead of Andreas Kolb and South African Greg Minnaar.

Alessandra Keller (Thömus Maxon) and Alan Hatherly (Cannondale Factory Racing) took the victories in the short track races at the Mountain Bike World Cup in Les Gets. Both waited until their opponents weakened before attacking on the final lap. Keller won ahead of Puck Pieterse and Rebecca Henderson, Hatherly won ahead of teammate Charlie Aldridge and Sam Gaze.

Around 300 participants from 21 nations took part in the mud battle at the fourth round of the iXS Downhill Cup in Spicak. Sabina Kosárková (CZE) and Jannik Abbou (GER) were the fastest on the challenging course in the Czech Bohemian Forest.
