The "Alpenbikepark" in Chur is one of the first bike parks in the Alps to open its trails at the beginning of April. The second park in the Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide is now also opening for the Ascension holidays. From Thursday, May 18, 2023, the lower section of the Rothorn gondola lift will ride on weekends and public holidays until the end of June and from July 8 to August 13 until 8 pm. There will be a change to the day and multi-day tickets, which will be valid in Arosa, Lenzerheide and Chur from the 2023 season at the same price.

The early start to the season in the Bike Kingdom this year coincides with the early date of the Mountain Bike World Cup in Lenzerheide. The competitions in the cross-country and downhill disciplines will be the first highlight of the season from June 9 to 11, 2023. This will be followed by the three races of the Bike Kingdom Kids Cup, the major competitions for young riders, as well as numerous other events in Arosa, Lenzerheide and Chur. Unusual events such as an "Adiletten Rave" or various whip, jump and braap sessions are also on the program at the Bike Kingdom Park Lenzerheide.
