Downhill world champion Loic Bruni is now definitely riding a Specialized bike in 2016. The big "S" has signed up the entire former "Lapierre-Gravity Republic" with Lois Vergier and Finn Iles. Troy Brosnan will continue to hunt for World Cup victories as a Specialized rider.

The new team around the downhill world champion is called the "Specialized Gravity Team". The Pure Agency was already the driving force behind the extremely successful riders Bruni and Vergier during the Lapierre era and is now also pulling the strings. Finn Iles will get his first taste of World Cup racing in 2016, with the Canadian competing in the juniors. Troy Brosnan will also be competing for Specialized in 2016, but as an individual rider in the "Specialized Factory Team". Specialized team manager Benno Willet is confident about next season, even after the departure of Aaron Gwin: "With Bruni, Vergier and Brosnan, we have three podium riders on the Demo.
