Magura and Wolftooth present stackable multitool

No bike should be without multi-tools to be able to fix small problems quickly in an emergency. With the new 8-Bit System, US premium brand Wolftooth and Magura now present a stackable multi-tool for handles on the bike and disc brakes in particular.

Multitools are always a compromise, as they should be able to perform as many tasks on the bike as possible while being as compact as possible. With over 25 functions, the new Wolftooth 8-bit system achieves this challenging balancing act.

The heart of the stackable tool is the extra-flat Wolftooth 8-bit combination pliers. Bits housed in the handle and fixed by magnet give the tool 17 functions for minor repairs on the bike. Thanks to the swivel ball head, even hard-to-reach areas can be reached easily. The convenient length of the tool provides comfortable leverage, even for loosening pedals, for example.

The stackable tool can be magnetically extended with three additional components. These include a chain tool with universal blade, tire lever and dent remover for rims or a disc brake multi-tool with tire lever.

Wolftooth has teamed up with brake specialist Magura to develop the disc brake multi-tool. Four specific functions make disc brake operations easier. These include a brake disk alignment tool, a slotted 8 mm hole wrench for tightening the union nut on the brake lever and two slots for measuring the wear limits of the brake pad and brake disk.
Thanks to its flat design, the tool is easy to stow in a jersey pocket or hip bag despite its many functions. The tool is developed and manufactured in the USA.
