After two years at Gstaad-Scott, 23-year-old Neko Mulally from North Carolina has decided to join a new team: in 2017 he will be racing for the YT Mob, the team that won the overall World Cup in 2016 in his first season with Aaron Gwin.

Neko, who rode his first race at the age of six, knows Aaron Gwin and team manager Martin Whiteley from earlier times when they worked together as a team in 2011 and 2012. "That worked pretty well back then. We've always stayed in touch since then and met up at races," says Mulally. "Then my contract expired in 2016 and there was still a vacancy at the Mob. I couldn't have done better and I think I can do something with the guys." Neko should feel that he is in good hands at YT, as Good Times and Gravity have a high priority at the company headquarters in Forchheim.

YT CEO Markus Flossmann is delighted with the new addition: "With Neko on the team, we are extremely well positioned. The guys complement each other and each one will benefit from the other. A perfect mix that has a lot of potential. We're excited about the new season and can hardly wait for the first World Cup race."
