Nicolai launches its own gear crank

After the launch of the Hammerschmidt gear crank from Truvativ last year, the new type of drivetrain is now facing competition. The German high-end bike manufacturer Nicolai has recently presented a gear crank developed with Bionicon that is close to the Hammerschmidt in terms of function and appearance.

The gear crank will not go into production before winter 2010/2011 because the company wants to test the product intensively first. It will be launched on the market with the name B-Boxx and will be available in various colors.
