The weekend of March 15 and 16, 2014 will be a festival for all bike fans. The event will be headlined by the Bike Lovers Contest for the seventh time. Under the motto "Off-road sports bike", the most beautiful bike handmade in Europe and suitable for off-road use will be sought. The public exhibition and evaluation of the competition entries by the jury will take place on Saturday, March 15 from 3 p.m. in the action hall of the Rote Fabrik in Zurich Wollishofen. The public will have the opportunity to choose their own favorites.

Also on Saturday, the Züritrails association will be holding the "Santa Cruz Pump & Sprint" race, an open combination race on a wooden pump track and a roller sprint system. In the evening, the season of the Zurich bike scene will be heralded in with the Season Opening Party. The winners of the combined race will also be crowned here at 9.00 pm. Afterwards, the Zurich rock band "The Birthday Girls" will heat up the party guests. From 10.00 a.m., Sunday will once again be all about the "particle accelerator". All kinds of bike enthusiasts will meet there in search of special, replacement or new parts.On Sunday, the award-winning off-road sports bikes will once again be exhibited and the winners will be announced by the jury and the public at 2.00 pm.
