POC completes helmet range

With the new helmet models in the "Trabec" series, the young Swedish company POC is adding two new helmets to its range. They have been specially designed for all-mountain and enduro use and come in an unmistakable design.

The two new helmets place great emphasis on function and quality. However, the Trabec line also impresses with its compact and straightforward design. The shock-absorbing materials used are reinforced with aramid (Kevlar) and are designed to provide maximum protection for the head in the event of an impact. Compared to conventional helmets, the new helmet models also provide better all-round protection for the head, meaning that the skull is also protected in the event of a side impact. Nevertheless, the Trabec line is said to offer good ventilation thanks to its aerodynamic channel system with 16 ventilation openings. The removable cross visor is height-adjustable and antibacterial "Polygiene" ensures that the interior stays fresh and hygienic for longer.
The "Trabec Race" will be available in white, orange and black. The cheaper "Trabec" version is available in blue, green and black. Less expensive because less aramid was used, which makes production less costly.

New protector backpack
With the "Spine VPD Hydration Pack", POC is also presenting a protector backpack that, in addition to the integrated back protector with shock-absorbing "VPD" technology (soft polyurethane foam that hardens in the event of a fall), offers space for the most necessary items such as tools, cell phone and rain jacket. There is also a compartment with a hydration pouch.
