Rock Shox' Reverb gets more travel and a "new soul

The Reverb has served for a long time. Now the variable seat tower is getting a proper upgrade. While hardly anything changes visually, more than just fresh oil flows behind the black stanchions and dip tubes. The entire inner workings are new, and the old problems of sagging should now be history.

As already mentioned, the "Reverb" and "Reverb Stealth" dropper posts look virtually unchanged. Only the gold-colored lettering is new. Inside, however, a newly developed system works with a floating piston from SKF. Apart from the last seal, Rock Shox has reworked its post. This should now pass every endurance test without giving way at any point.

A version with 170 millimeters of travel is also new - made for the toughest and steepest descents. In addition to four stroke lengths - 100, 125, 150 and 170 millimetres - the seatposts are also available with shaft diameters of 30.9, 31.6 and 34.9 millimetres.
