Sabine Spitz starts 2005 for Specialized

As our German colleagues at bike sport news have just published, the German Olympic bronze medallist Sabine Spitz is now riding for Specialized. After becoming world champion in Merida colors in 2003, Spitz switched to the German Team Fusion last season.

The contract with Fusion was terminated by mutual agreement just two days ago after Seat withdrew as team sponsor. With the withdrawal of the sponsor at a late stage, Fusion would not have been able to guarantee Spitz the necessary professional environment.

At Specialized, Spitz will now be team-mates with Liam Killeen, Paola Pezzo, Sid Taberlay and Alban Lakata.
