Six days after the O-Tour Marathon, Martin Fanger also wins the National Park Bike Marathon in a sprint and thus the Swiss Marathon Championships. However, a crash overshadows the final. The women's race passes in an orderly fashion and ends with Steffi Häberlin surprisingly winning the title.

The Swiss champions in the downhill mountain bike discipline will be determined on the weekend of October 3-4 in St. Luc. The national championships will be held three times in Leysin between 2021 and 2028.

At the second stop of the "Enduro World Series E" in Pietra Ligure, Nicolas Vouilloz "E.T." and Tracy Moseley "T-Mo" were the fastest on their e-mountainbikes. The two multiple downhill world champions beat Emanuel Pombo and Jose Borges as well as Nadine Sapin and Maaris Meier.

Morning rain and thunderstorms made the second race of the Enduro World Series in Pietra Ligure difficult to assess - to the liking of the French: Melanie Pugin won the women's race, followed by four compatriots. Anita Gehrig finishes eleventh. Adrien Dailly won the men's race ahead of Florian Nicolai and Australian Jack Moir, while Patrick Lüthi shone with a top 15 result.
