As expected, Marc Stutzmann won his first Swiss Bike Marathon Champion title at the Eiger Bike Challenge after a tough battle with Casey South from Eastern Switzerland and the surprising David Gysling. In the women's category, Bike Marathon Classics leader Alexandra Zürcher was the fastest. However, as she does not have a license, the fallen Irina Lützelschwab took the title ahead of the surprising Stefanie Zahno and Alessia Nay.

The most decorated man in mountain biking, Nino Schurter, took the first rainbow jersey in Glentress with a solid Swiss team performance. Switzerland wins ahead of France and Denmark.

In the second race of the Swiss Enduro Series in Laax, Delia da Mocogno and Tim Bratschi, both from the canton of Uri, took the day's victories in the elite categories. Bratschi fought an exciting duel with local and Swiss champion Basil Weber, while da Mocogno won ahead of local hero Anita Gehrig and Melanie Pugin from France.
