The Kross Racing Team reveals the identity of its third new addition. European Marathon Championship bronze medallist Ariane Lüthi from Switzerland has signed with the bike brand from Poland, completing the line-up to a quartet. The only remaining rider from 2018 is Maja Wloszczowska.

The JB Brunex Felt Team has announced Marcel Guerrini as its final new signing for the 2019 season. The 24-year-old wants to continue his development in the team's family environment and realize his potential. Like Florian Vogel, Guerrini left the Focus team at the end of the year.

Ariane Lüthi's previous teammate at Team Spur, the South African U23 world champion Alan Hatherly, has changed teams as expected, but not his riding gear. He is now riding for Specialized Racing and has already been announced as the Cape Epic partner of Stellenbosch World Cup winner Sam Gaze.

The Scott Velosolutions Downhill Team may have come to an end at the end of the 2018 season - but not for the bike brand from Givisiez. Scott presents its new downhill squad with Brendan Fairclough, who is almost part of the Scott inventory, Dean Lucas (AUS), Florent Payet and Marine Cabirou (both FRA). Also new is the stylish carbon bike that can already be seen in action in the team video.

New Zealander Matt Walker will be joining the Pivot Factory Racing Team with Bernard Kerr, Emilie Siegenthaler and Ed Masters for the 2019 season. The 28-year-old from Christchurch will focus on Downhill World Cups, EWS and Crankworx events. "It's the whole package that makes it the dream team. From the bikes to the riders, and there's definitely a lot to laugh about," says Walker.

In the first week after the registration portal opened, two thirds of the starting places for the two-man enduro race from September 5 to 7, 2019 in Davos had already been sold. For this reason, the organizing committee is now pushing the capacity limit and increasing the number of starting places from 200 to 225 teams. But even for these teams, there is not much longer to wait.

The six-race Swiss enduro racing series "Enduro Helveti'Cup" will be held for the fifth time in 2019. The organizers of the Enduro Helveti'Cup and BOLD Cycles are pleased to announce their close cooperation for the next three seasons. With this commitment, BOLD Cycles wants to make a targeted contribution to the development of enduro racing.

For Florian Vogel, his first podium finish of the new year. That's right - he runs. The 37-year-old makes it onto the podium at the traditional "Munggä Run" ski touring competition in Elm, even beating Alexander Hug, the former world-class ski tourer. Vogel only has to concede to winner Micha Steiner and Gerhard Schneider.
