Alessandra Keller wins the international cross-country C1 race near Dornbirn (AUT) ahead of Annie Last (GBR) and Nadine Rieder (GER). Nicole Koller finishes a good fourth. In the men's race, Switzerland's Filippo Colombo is only beaten by France's Victor Koretzky, but prevails against Gerhard Kerschbaumer (ITA). Matthias Stirnemann finished sixth, Vital Albin seventh and Andri Frischknecht ninth.

The enduro riders had to wait a long time for the start of the Enduro World Series, and then it almost fell through - only almost. In the shortened race, Isabeau Courdurier and Jesse Melamed turned out to be the fastest helmsmen in the mud of Zermatt. The Swiss put in a good performance with Anita Gehrig in fourth place and Gusti Wildhaber in 18th place.

Zermatt is not only the venue for the start of this year's Enduro World Series. The very first race of the E-Enduro World Series will also be held at the foot of the Matterhorn. E-mountain bike world champion Nathalie Schneitter rides straight to the podium at the premiere. Gusti Wildhaber fights his way to ninth place in the men's race.
